Our home is a very comfortable three-storey, five bedrooms (sleeps up to 10) and three bathrooms waterfront property in Gymea Bay situated high above the beautiful Port Hacking River in the southern shire of Sydney. We have recently renovated the house with two full kitchens over two levels and have refurbished each bedroom with king size beds and an adjustable massaging memory foam long king bed in the master bedroom. On the bottom level we have an electric treadmill, spin bike and fitness equipment and as well as a sauna for those who are active inclined.
We are located 20 Km south of Sydney and have a regular bus and railway system linked to and from the City. Our house is close the Royal National Park (directly opposite by boat), one of the largest Westfield shopping centres (3km), great restaurants and some of the most spectacular surf beaches in Australia (North and South Cronulla, Wanda, Eleoura Beaches), which are only four kilometres away.
The house is located in a safe and very quiet cull de sac and faces directly onto the Port Hacking River and surrounded by great views from all three balconies Down our garden and on the waterfront we have a jetty, pontoon and a boat house with toilet facilities, a small kitchen, large sleeping loft and a covered deck, B B Q area, small sandy beach, gazebo and tiled area for sitting, reading, enjoying the view, fishing ( we have rods and reels), swimming, kayaking (we have 3 kayaks) or boating. We have a new 5 metre bow rider boat that is on an adjacent slipway that we can also make available.
We look across to the Royal National Park, which is the second oldest National Park in the world behind Yellowstone in the USA. It is a popular destination for boating, hiking, bushwalking and surf beaches. Gymea Bay is a suburb in the Sutherland Shire and is popular for all water or outdoor sports. Gymea Bay is easily accessible to Sydney City, which takes approximately 30-60 minutes by public transport. We are also close to many tourist attractions and the beautiful south coast resorts.
We feel our home is well suited to home exchangers looking for magnificent views, outdoor activities, water sports, excellent restaurants or just a rest as well as being within easy reach of Sydney city. We are both semi retired and looking to explore new places and making new friends.
