Our house is a tiny gem – situated in the historical garden city „Fliegerviertel“. With its houses, gardens, squares and small streets, the garden city is a surprising bit of suburban lifestyle in the heart of the city.
Less is more – the house has no luxury to offer but its very own story to tell (built in 1923, you still find ancient German newspapers used as wallpaper...) It offers three bedrooms, each with a double-bed, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy living room and a beautiful wild garden with a covered terrace.
Just a stone's thrown away is the Tempelhof airport that is now a huge public park – in former times it was one of Europe's three iconic pre-World War II airports. After the airport closed in 2008, the city of Berlin reclaimed the 386-hectare open space and one of the world's largest buildings in a central location for public use. Today, the area has a six-kilometre cycling, skating and jogging trail, a 2.5-hectare BBQ area, a dog-walking field covering around four hectares and an enormous picnic area for all visitors.
All main places of interest are within 15 minutes by public transport. Enjoy a moment of German culture and history in our place and in one of the most beautiful, controversial and historically fascinating cities in the world!
