Our much loved home is a modern family home located on a quiet cul de sac yet minutes away from the centre of the village of Poynton and all it offers Including cafes, restaurants and a wide range of shops. A ten minute walk away from the village brings you to the open country-side and beautiful Peak District. Yet the local train station, which is within walking distance, allows access to Manchester City centre and all it has to offer in just 25 minutes. There are three bedrooms located upstairs (two double and one single) along with a family bathroom whilst downstairs we have a bright and spacious living/dining area and modern kitchen and utility area. Outside there's ample parking on the off road driveway and a secure back garden that overlooks a beautiful local community garden and stream. Our home is furnished very comfortably throughout with a recently updated modern kitchen and bathroom.
Poynton is a village located on the outskirts of Manchester and on the doorstep of the magnificent Peak District offering the best of both - a 25 minute train ride to access all the restaurants, music, theatres and museums that a buzzing city like Manchester has to offer or a stroll in the other direction leads you to the wide, open spaces of Lyme Park which is the start of the Peak District. The village itself, with its friendly, family oriented feel, has much to offer including shops, cafes, delis, restaurants, a live music venue and pubs (including a microbrewery). Local playgrounds and parks, including Poynton Pool, offers lots to do for those who love the outdoors. Walkers, cyclists and equestrians will also enjoy the local canal paths and the Middlewood Way. Swimming facilities are available at the local leisure centre whilst anyone interested in golf will enjoy the Davenport Golf Couse located nearby in Higher Poynton. For anyone wanting to explore further afield, the towns and cities of Bakewell, Buxton, Chester and Liverpool are all within an hours drive whilst a train service from Macclesfield takes just 1hour 45 minutes to get to London for a day out.
