Our 4year-old floating home is moored in False Creek, at Granville Island,a popular destination in the heart of Vancouver with theatres,a fabulous food market and a great selection of restaurants. We have an unobstructed water view because we are, after all, right on the water. False Creek is about two hundred meters wide, and our large livingroom windows look directly across the Creek at the downtown Vancouver skyline. Most of downtown Vancouver's attractions are no more than a 10 minute walk or drive from our front door, and many can be reached with the local ferry service. The ferries are 10 passenger walk-on boats that can connect you to downtown, and to bicycle paths that circle our beautiful city. (The ferries take bikes, and people.) As well as downtown, Stanley Park and the sand beaches of English Bay are just a pleasant walk or ferry/bike ride away.

The house is finished with cherry floors and exposed beams. There is a finished basement (yes, it is underwater)which can sleep two extra people on a sofabed. Decks outside have the same wonderfull water view that you have from the living room and are great for barbeque dinners on warm summer evenings.
