Hello! Vancouver, on the West coast of Canada, is a wonderful place to visit.
With the best climate in the country, nestled on the ocean, across
the bay from the mountains, there is no limit to the sports and activities you
can do. Our architect-designed home is nestled in a unique neighbourhood
called 'Southlands', where there are several public and private golf courses,
horse ranches, and river trails that you can walk, bike, or ride for miles.
Despite the peaceful location, we are only a 20 minute drive to downtown,
and there is much shopping in the area. Our neighbours are exceptionally
friendly, and we have a nanny/housekeeper and many babysitters nearby.

Summers in Vancouver are lovely. 20-30 degrees Celcius, lots of sunshine.
There are fantastic school holiday programs here for children and we would
be happy to help you register in them- gymnastics, an excellent children's
art, dance & theatre school, pedal heads bike camp, horsebackriding,
swimming, and very fun day and boarding camps where children come from
all over the world to study English. If there are programs like this where you
live, we would appreciate hearing about them.

We are especially looking for an exchange to Montreal for June, but we are
open to considering all types of exchanges.

If you are interested in visiting the United States in addition to Canada, we are
a couple hour's drive from Seattle. And if you are avid downhill skiers, we are
a 2.5 hour drive to Whistler/Blackcomb www.whistlerblackcomb.com There
is also winter downhill skiing, cross-country, and skating on the mountains
just across from downtown.

Our home is very special to us, and we will treat your home as if it were our
own. There are 5 bedrooms. There is one ensuite master bedroom with a
king bed, a guest room with a queen and an office with a double sofa bed
that share the main floor bathroom, There are two small children's rooms,
each
with a single bed, that open onto a playroom and a bathroom with shower.
